Sound Healing with Dae

I’m a gender non-conforming trans-masculine person who uses he/him/his pronouns and I specialize in Sound Healing Support for LGBTQIA+ people.

All of my life I have been sensitive to sound and music, and at times I get messages or see visualizations in my mind’s eye when listening. Once I heard the sound of a quartz crystal bowl I was 100% sure that sound healing was meant for me, the wah-wah-wah of tone resonating through the material mystifies and delights me. Playing the crystal bowls is my favorite instrument, and when you hear the tones imbued with sincere intention you will know exactly what I mean.

While rising to the top as an expert in the field of professional body piercing, I came to find that I was drowning in stress and subject to the transference of energy of the people that I was piercing all day. I began to develop an interest in the healing arts while looking for ways to feel better myself. Sound is a tool that aids in meditation and deep relaxation, both physically and energetically. After finding great comfort and profound healing with this modality, pairing perfectly with my lifelong love of singing and creating music with the guitar or piano, it became my mission to help others truly relax with sound.

As a Sound Healer, I provide sound healing experiences and energy healing services by tapping into the universal source energy consciousness, crystal consciousness and the ancient ancestors. I inspire spiritual empowerment through calm communication and ritual, wherein I implement intentional ceremony, inviting the spirit world to commemorate powerful moments.

In joining the Sound Healing community I saw very few queer and trans teachers and leaders and instead saw many white people appropriating spiritual customs and practices that are not of their lineage. It’s my aim to bring a more nuanced approach to healing spaces while calling in folks who feel left out and unwelcome in the average white-washed sound healing space.

I am a Certified Sound Healer Level III accredited by the CMA (Complimentary Medicine Association), Certified Crystal Practitioner, I am Certified in Reiki Level III and I have had extensive study and practice in Vipassana Meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin.
I have received training in the use of many sound healing instruments and techniques including Quartz Crystal Sound Bowls, Tuning Forks, Trance Drumming, Vocal Toning and many other modalities.
