Do Virtual Sound Baths Still Work?

How do Virtual Sound Baths Work Anyway?

As a Healer, my ultimate goal is to help people. As a Sound Healer, I help people using vibrational instruments as tools. Some of these instruments, such as the quartz crystal singing bowls, are not easy to travel with because they are fragile and fairly heavy.

I have put effort and hard work into creating excellent Virtual Sonic Offerings for you by investing in condenser microphones, a multi-channel sound mixing board, sourcing high quality and hand crafted instruments and attending trainings and participating in mentorships by both Professional Musicians and other Sound Healers.

When you are coming to healing with the intention to receive; to rest, rejuvenate, cleanse and clear stagnant or stuck energy– it can be a vulnerable state to be in. It can sometimes feel difficult to fully relax and rest when you are in a new building, a new space, around a bunch of new people.

Personally, my least favorite parts of group meditation retreats is sitting in silence with a bunch of people who are making lots of little noises; sniffles, coughs, sneezes, burps, farts, knuckle-cracks, indigestion/stomach gurgles, the list of bodily functions that we cannot really help that interrupt the peaceful tones of sound baths goes on and on.

When I do virtual sessions for you we eliminate all of the hassle and risk of traveling with quartz crystal bowls and the distractions of having a bunch of other people around you. As long as you have a device (phone/tablet/laptop) and headphones (over the ear are best but earbuds will work too) you will experience a sleek and pristine sound bath without the interference of your neighbor snoring.

Is a Sound Bath More Powerful in Person?

If you’re concerned about the healing session being less potent virtually, I can eliminate your uncertainty through explaining the phenomenon of non-locality. Non-locality is a fascinating concept that challenges our everyday understanding of how things work.

In the world of quantum physics, non-locality refers to the strange behavior of particles that are connected in a special way. It's like having a pair of magical dice that always show the same numbers no matter how far apart they are. When something happens to one dice, the other instantly "knows" and shows the same result, even if they are in different places. This is different from what we experience in our daily lives, where things usually have to travel or send signals to communicate with each other.

Scientists have conducted experiments to study non-locality and have found some really interesting results. One famous experiment is called the Aspect Experiment or Bell's Theorem Experiment. In this experiment, researchers created pairs of entangled particles, which means the particles were connected in a special way. They then separated the particles and made measurements on them. What they found was mind-boggling: the measurements of one particle seemed to instantly affect the measurements of the other particle, even though they were far apart. This showed that there is a mysterious connection between the particles that allows them to communicate faster than anything we know.

Another experiment that supports the idea of non-locality is the work done by scientists like Nicolas Gisin and his team. They studied entangled particles and found that when they measured one particle, it influenced the properties of its entangled partner, no matter the distance between them. These experiments show that there is something peculiar going on at the quantum level, where particles can be connected in ways that seem to defy our normal understanding of space and time.

Similarly, wireless internet allows for the transfer of data between devices without physical wires, using electromagnetic waves to transmit signals across space. Both non-locality and wireless internet involve the transmission of information or signals over distances, albeit on different scales. Our bodies are essentially electromagnetic batteries, so we can both send and receive signals, information, and healing energy to each other in similar ways.

What do I Need to do to Receive Sound Healing or Energy Work Virtually?

My favorite part of Sound Healing is that it is so gentle and rejuvenating and there is no wrong way to receive it.
Think of it as a guided meditation with mostly music instead of just vocal instructions and let yourself melt into the relaxing sounds.

For an optimal experience, I recommend:

-A phone or laptop to connect to the web

-Headphones (over the ear work best) or a quality speaker to feel the vibrations on the body

-A quiet place to rest comfortably

-Extra pillows, blankets, and an eyemask if you wanna be extra cozy

-Sacred objects (crystals, jewelry, talisman)

-Have water or tea nearby
